31st Dec 2011–The Day I Cash Out My Nuffnang, ChurpChurp & Says.My Earnings..

Memang dah target end of year nak cash out semua income yang dapat dari blog and Twitter.. Alhamdullillah, ada sikit rezeki dengan blog, so dapatlah cecah 4 angka… Ni kira achievement for my blog lah ni.. hehe.. Harap2 murah rezeki lagi tahun 2012.. Sometimes, it becomes more meaningful when we least expect it.. Pada pendapat, akulah.. :)

Why iDiGi 88? As I said before, saya mahu jimat cermat sempena tahun baru ni.. :) Lagipun, aku ni orang yang jenis jarang call, suka SMS aje.. So, iDiGi 88 seems more than enough for me.. Don’t worry, even though the data is for 1GB, if I exceed the 1GB usage, I still can continue using it without worrying they will charge extra.. No extra charges will be imposed.. Kenapa? DiGi iPhone 4SURE 4 ME…

Ever since Siri has been launched in Malaysia’s land more than a week ago, I have been thinking how to get it for FREE! Dapat bonus from the company, only 0.5.. Tukar tayar 4 biji, renew roadtax kereta, you tell me what is it left for me? huhu.. I have no allocation for the new Siri, you know! Anyway, my life did not end there.. Life must be continued as it is, right? hehe..

Okaylah, let me tell you why I want the ah-mazing iPhone 4S..

1) Current condition of my hand phone

This is how my handphone looks like..

  Can you spot what is missing??? It is the stylus pen.. Knowing me, aku ni jenis tak boleh ada banyak barang or accessories.. Sometimes tak sedar pun ada yang hilang.. So, one solid handphone, like Siri is a perfect one for me!

Actually, handphone yang aku guna ni ialah hantaran kahwin yang aku bagi untuk my hubby masa kahwin pada 2009.. And recently he bought himself an iPhone 4.. He gave his phone to me.. So kira “Handphone-Buruk-Siku” lah ni.. Aku dah bagi, lepas tu aku amik balik.. hihi..

Imagine lah, this phone dari 2009, now we will enter 2012.. So, the application is not up to date like the latest Siri, for sure.. No Twitter apps.. I am Twitter-addicted, mind you.. hihi.. No whatsapp messenger for me to chit-chating with my friends which most of them have the latest smartphone in their hands.. So setiap kali nak berhubung, I have to spend 5 cent to send an SMS to them or sometimes more.. Of course the conversation did not end with one SMS je, kan?

2) I never have an iPhone before

That’s why I want that Siri so badly! Siri-ously! Aku tak pernah memiliki sebarang iPhone sebelum ni.. Am I sound outdated? It’s about the budget actually.. Kadang-kadang, ada niat nak beli untuk diri sendiri.. Tapi, niat sahaja tidak boleh kalau ongkosnya tidak cukup.. kehkehkeh.. Jadinya, kalaulah menang Siri ni, it’s like dream comes true..

3) 16th January is just around the corner..

Tahu tak 16th January tu tarikh apa? It will be my birthday, lah! hehe.. Oh, alangkah bestnya jika dapat Siri from DiGI as my birthday present.. At age of 29, it’s never too late to own an iPhone 4S.. Surely, I will smile from ear to ear.. hehe.. And, definitely, it will be the best birthday present ever.. :) My husband already gave me my birthday present in advance, so the chance to get it from him is very slim.. hihi..

I wish I could have one, one day…

Setiap pagi mesti check Nuffnang website.. Kalau nampak ada Buffered Earnings bertambah, memang syoklah.. hehe.. Semakin lama berblog, baru rasa excitement bila kite tengok income blog bertambah.. Alhamdulillah, sikit-sikit lama-lama jadi bukit.. :)

Yuhuuu, semalam (end of month) aku dah cash out Nuffnang earnings aku for the 3rd time.. Kali ni aku reveal lah, berapa jumlahnya.. Tak banyak mana, tapi bolehlah dari tak ada, kan? hehe.. Total up semua, aku dapat RM573 from Nuffnang.. Kalau fikir2 balik, bagus kan? mana ada orang nak bagi duit free2 kat kita ni..

Dengan blog aku ni, adalah rezeki sikit.. Mulanya, bukan niat nak generate duit semata-mata.. I write because I want to write.. Paham, kan? Do something you like, and you’ll be happy.. :) Tapi, bila ada cara dapat duit dari blog, aku trylah.. So, inilah hasilnya… Takpe, sikit-sikit pun duit jugak.. hehe.. Oh ya, check akan dapat dalam sebulan lebih lagi..

The 2nd Nuffnang Cheque Has Arrived…

Previously, the first check, I cashed out once it reach its minimum allowable amount.. Yelah, for the first timer, I did it to make sure that Nuffnang really pay the blogger for the advertisements.. Yes they did!

But, this time around I decided to keep the amount increase until few hundreds before I cash out the money.. Until last month, I cannot tahan anymore, so I press the “Cash Out” button.. hehe.. And, yesterday, I got the cheque arrived at my post box.. Now, its time to think what to buy.. :P I am dreaming of new handbag.. Any brand, but must be spacious sling bag.. I want to put my baby stuff inside.. hehe.. Maybe the money enough for Guess or Nine West.. Or, Braun Buffel?? erm, this one, papa top-up, boleh? hehe..

Make Money With Nuffnang…

Entry ini khas untuk kawan saya, Peng yang bertanyakan bagaimana nak letak iklan Nuffnang dalam blog dia..

So, here are the steps:

1. Login your Nuffnang account.

2. Boleh nampak kan ada icon Add Ads (warna oren) kat situ? Click on that icon ok.

3. There are 3 types of advertisement you can paste on your blog; Leaderboard, Skyscraper and Large Rectangle.

Leaderboard ialah untuk ditampal kat header, Skyscraper ditempekkan kat side bar of your blog and lastly, Last Rectangle untuk letak between the content..

Ini contoh Leaderboard code. The code is in HTML format. You will have this in your account too.

4. Copy one of the HTML code. And then, go to your blogger account. Click Layout. Pastu, click on Edit HTML icon.

For Leaderboard code, sebelum paste code, click on the “Expand Widget” tick box. Pastu, paste code tu seperti di bawah ni. To make live easier, use “Find” function untuk search for <body> word in the HTML code . Then, right after the <body> line, terus paste Leaderboard code.

Same goes for Skyscraper code. Copy the Skyscraper code from the Add Ads screen, then paste into your HTML blog template. Where to paste? Search for <div id='header-wrapper'> or <div id='sidebartop-wrap'> word. Then, right after </div>, paste the Nuffnang ads code.

And, lastly paste the Large Rectangle Code. Search for <data:adStart/> word in your HTML code, then paste the Large Rectangle code after </b:if> word.

Then, save template. Don’t worry kalau ada error yang keluar bila save template. Abaikan message tu. Nanti, kat blog, takde keluar error message tu.

4. Dah siap semua, boleh bukak blog sendiri. Then, refresh. Kita boleh nampak Ads by Nuffnang icon kat 3 tempat dalam blog sendiri.

Kalau ada advertisement yang running, you will see the advertisement appears in your blog.. Kalau takde ads yang running, hanya Ads by Nuffnang icon yang akan kita nampak..

5. Lagi satu, nak ingatkan.. Kalau nak advertisement dari advertiser yang appear, kena select the correct ads to be displayed. Selalunya kita select “Show Global CPC ads”. If not, only Nuffnang default ads yang keluar.. which is tak dapat apa2 pun kalau orang klik..

Aku baru create satu blog lists kawan2.. If you look at the sidebar, you can find:

Ye, aku agak ketinggalan berbanding orang lain yang panjang berjela link nya.. hihi.. Sebenarnya, aku tak berapa selesa untuk letakkan semua link di blog yang ini sebab tak suka kalau loading time nya mengambil masa yang lama, especially bile banyak widget2 diletakkan dalam blog..

Lagi satu, dengan adanya blog lists tu, senang sikit aku nak bloghopping.. tak perlu type kat navigation bar Mozilla or IE yang aku guna.. just click on the link, that's so easy.. Blog yang baru update will be on top of the list, mudahlah kalau nak baca recent entry.. So, yang tak update, tak payahlah aku jenguk ;P

Owh, bercerita tentang blogging tips, aku ada beberapa tips how to attract traffic to your blog (walaupun aku punya blog pun traffic ciput aje.. kehkehkeh).. Tapi, tak salah, kan? Sharing is caring.. Not only to attract visitors to your blog, you can indirectly make money through your blog.. especially with Nuffnang..

1. Kalau nak orang visit blog, jangan lah private kan.. ini semua orang pun tahu, kan?.. hihi..
   Kalau private, orang luar tak boleh masuk blog kite.. so, your traffic/visitors are very limited.. Nuffnang crawler pun tak dapat detect the traffics.
   


2. Tulis entry yang menarik untuk dibaca atau dikongsi..
   Biasanya siapa akan masuk blog kite? Kawan2 kan? Kalau entry biasa2 pun, kawan2 tetap akan baca.. tapi, how to attract more people who we don’t even know? You can write almost anything, tapi, dinasihatkan tentang politic tu, tak payahlah.. karang tak pasal2 masuk ISA.. hehe..Tulis aje tentang apa2, LRT tambah gerabak ke, tips atau petua awet muda ke, not necessarily personal life and daily routine aje.. Orang akan attracted with your blog bila ada kepelbagaian.. kalau cerita yang sama, orang masuk satu kali, lepas tu, tak masuk2 lagi.. lagi satu, orang Malaysia ni suka pasal gossip artis.. no wonders, kalau blog gossip, memang ramai gile visitorsnya :) aku pun suka jengah.. hihi.. tapi, tak minat sangat nak cerita pasal gossip dalam blog ni, silap gossip karang, aku jadi penabur fitnah pulak.. hehe..
   


3. Cara penulisan pun penting juga..
   Tak kiralah menulis dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Inggeris atau rojak sekalipun, kena tulis dengan betul.. Pernah fikir tak orang akan “sangkut” atau terjumpa kat blog bila diorang search something through Google? So, bile orang search apa2, apa yang diorang type kat search bar tu? Sama ada “knp sy ssh nk dpt kwn?” atau “kenapa saya susah nak dapat kawan?” Fikir-fikirkanlah.. Kadang2, aku baca pun tak berapa paham.. Nak guna sikit2, yang common seperti “yg”, “tak”, “nak” still ok.. tapi, bila semua dah dipendekkan (aku tak tau apa motifnya.. Kalau SMS tu, sebab nak jimat kredit kan?), orang pun susah nak baca apa yang kite tulis..
   

4. Tajuk entry yang menarik..
   Orang akan tertarik nak baca apa yang kite tulis bila tajuknya menarik.. instead of plain and boring title like “My Weekend”, you can add some flavour to it.. like “The Weekend Really Drove Me Crazy”.. Nak tau jugaklah, apa yang korang buat sampai nak gila tu.. hehe.. Ingat tak tentang tajuk entry aku “Macam Mana Nak Mengandung?”, sampai sekarang pun orang still google it.. haha..

Cukuplah takat tu dulu.. feel free to add to share more tips.. harap petua2 tips2 ni berguna untuk kawan2 dan diri aku jugak.. but, don’t worry! just write whatever you want to write, if you don’t bother about the traffic thingy.. your blog is yours.. so, nak syok sendiri ke apa, kite punya suka la kan? hihi.. First and foremost, many thanks to Nuffnang.. Yesterday, I got my first check from Nuffnang.. Who said people can’t make money from blogging? I know the amount is small to be proud of, if compared what top bloggers like Redmummy, Kennysia etc earn from Nuffnang… but, I still happy as it is a good place to start with in this blogging world..

Aku baru je create Nuffnang poll kat side bar blog ni.. Tekalah, whether my baby is girl or boy.. nak teka banyak kali ke, ikut suka lah..tapi, xde hadiah lah.. Saja je suka2.. hehe..
